Veggie Stir Fry

Okay y’all, here it is, veggies, spice and everything nice! I love stir fry and wanted to make it but as a side. Had already planned on a fish entrée so made a veggie stir fry side to accompany! You all have to try it! And I added hot honey. If you don’t know about hot honey, you need to get on the @arshotsouthernhoney train and get yourself a 3 variety pack. Here’s the recipe for my veggie story fry side!

Ingredients

  • 1 box of baby Bella mushrooms

  • 1 8oz bag of snow peas

  • 2 bok Choy stalks, ends trimmed and cut length wise

  • 3 cloves of garlic minced

  • 1/4 chopped onion

  • 1/2 tblsp of soy sauce

  • 1/2 tblsp of oyster sauce or a thick teryaki sauce if you can’t find oyster sauce

  • 1 tblsp hot southern honey (mild), optional

  • 1/4 tsp of chili 🌶 pepper flakes, optional

  • 1/4 tsp of white sesame seeds, optional

  • 1/4 tsp of black sesame seeds, optional

  • 1 tblsp Chopped cilantro, optional

Directions
In a wok or large skillet, heat up a tblsp of olive oil until oil swirls around more like water and less like oil. On high to Medium high heat, dump mushrooms in and swirl about. Cook mushrooms down. Takes about 5 minutes to cook them down on medium high. Now crank up heat a little and add onion and garlic. Swirl around until mushrooms get cozy with the garlic and onion. You’ll smell it. Then add the snow peas and Bok Choy. Sauté for a minute or so, add the soy sauce, oyster sauce and stir. Lastly add the honey and sesame seeds or chili pepper flakes if you’re doing that. Sauté for 1 more minute and turn heat off. Serve and enjoy! Feel free to add chopped cilantro for another level of flavor :)
