Nina’s Chimichurri Sauce

My chimichurri recipe is easy and great as a marinade or on top of the best cuts of meat! Here it is y’all! Enjoy and if you make it, show me how you used it!

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of cilantro or parsley

  • 3 cloves of peeled garlic

  • 1/2 sweet onion

  • 1 cup of olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp chili pepper flakes, optional for heat

Directions

In a food processor, throw in washed herbs, rough chopped pieces of the onion, 3 cloves of the garlic and 1/2 tsp of salt (chili flakes too if you want). Chop and grind until finely minced. Use a spatula if needed to push herbs down for fine grinding. Empty the minced ingredients into a Tupperware or bowl and then add 1 cup or 1.5 cups of olive oil. Mix and set aside. Ready to use as a marinade or on top of steak!
